"Musically, they sure ain't no stuffy preservationists; whether a bitter lament or an earthy hard-driving breakdown, with Marc's squeezebox, Ann's guitar, and their highly capable sons Joel and Wilson on fiddle and keyboards, the Savoys cover the Cajun spectrum with a dazzling mixture of spiritual joy and virtuoso voltage." -Jonny Whitesides-Los Angeles Times

We are just back from a wonderful couple of summer tours-
first we went up the west coast, starting in Berkeley, CA. at the Freight and Salvage, then celebrating Chris Strachwitz birthday at Ashkenaz, then to Seattle where we did a dance, cooking demo, and workshops at the home of Paul and Jean, then to Port Townsend, WA for the 40th anniversary there.
This tour was extra special because we also had both of our daughters playing with us, plus our granddaughter Anna, in from Paris, France.
